Located in downtown Toronto’s Entertainment District, the Thompson Hotel Toronto (now known as 1 Hotel Toronto) features 102 contemporary guest rooms, state-of the art amenities including a screening room, ballroom, fitness centre and rooftop pool, and 4 premier bars and restaurants. Accel worked with world renowned, Spanish design firm Studio Gaia and a team of industry-leading designers and consultants specializing in the luxury hotel industry. The building incorporates curtain wall and structural glazing systems and features several outdoor amenity spaces including a rooftop lounge bar and pool. Accel also undertook the heritage reconstruction of the adjacent International Harvester Co. building, successfully restoring and transforming it into one of the Thompson Hotel’s feature restaurants.
